I stayed here for a trip and would come here again. Recently refurbished hotel in an ideal location on the island of Koh Lanta, the services were very good. Nice hot breakfast as for Europeans, and the staff was top-class.

The staff at the Riverside House Hotel Sha Extra Plus in Chiang Mai were fantastic and really helpful. They assisted us with our laundry and also helped us book a guided tour. The hotel's location in a new area was perfect, with the Sunday market and a night market just a stone's throw away. Additionally, we found it convenient that there were plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance from the hotel.

This hotel is great, close to the night bazar, good restaurants, and next to Rimping Supermarket. The location was perfect for us, with easy walking distance to the supermarket, across the river to the night market, and lots of dining options. It was also an easy 20-25 minute walk to the old city, so we spent plenty of time just walking around Chiang Mai. The staff were very attentive and accommodating, and the rooms were comfortable and clean, certainly adequate for the price paid. We had a room with a big window that opened onto a balcony, comfy beds, and a mini fridge and kettle with tea bags and coffee sachets. The hotel also faced some greenery, which meant potentially less noise than the rooms facing the swimming pool.
Everything was ok, no major issues.

I recently stayed at Riverside House Hotel Sha Extra Plus for 5 nights and had a fantastic experience. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, quickly fixing any small issues that arose. The breakfast, despite some negative reviews, was excellent considering the price paid for the room. The hotel offers great value for money, with neat and clean rooms that are air conditioned. The location is perfect, just a 5-minute walk to the night bazaar. The small pool was great for cooling off and the hotel also offers motorbike hire for easy access to the city and super highway.
Totally recommend this hotel.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly helpful and made our experience wonderful. The rooms were excellent and the wifi was strong. The location was also phenomenal, close to the night markets and amenities, yet still quiet. We also enjoyed the coffee shop inside the lobby, it added to the overall atmosphere of the place.
The breakfast options were a bit limited, we were hoping for more cereal choices and spreads. the beds were extremely stiff and uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

The value for money at this hotel is exceptional. From the affordable prices to the attention to detail, it's a great choice for budget travelers. The location is perfect, with easy walking distance to the bustling markets and the stunning river. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service, making you feel at home. The basic amenities are all there, including comfortable rooms with good wifi and a big window that opens onto a classic balcony. The breakfast, with its boiled eggs, provides a taste of Thailand.
Everything was fine, no improvements needed.
